Who

An American from Texas. Currently between Dallas and Lisbon — en route, in the most literal sense. The relocation is in progress. The first properties are being searched for. The wine is being sourced. The window is open.

A background in capital allocation — AQ Capital — and a parallel life being built through AQ Living: a portfolio of exquisite places across nine territories in six countries, each one honest to its landscape, each one passing four filters before anything else is considered.

The platform — Finestra, Terra, Vino — documents the pursuit honestly. Some of what you see here exists. Some is being searched for. Some is not yet real in any way except this one. The gap between those three things is not a problem to be solved. It is the road itself.

What this is

AQ Living is not a hotel brand. It is a methodology applied to life itself. Find the landscape before it is found. Build something so honest to its place it could only exist there. Then open the door.

The properties being built are genuinely small. Three to five suites. A thermal experience under the dark sky. A typewriter in every room with the previous guest's note already in the platen. A handwritten card on arrival. Local wine chosen for a reason. The host who knows where the stars rise.

The ambition is not scale. It is the highest possible quality of a specific kind of experience — intimate, considered, honest — delivered consistently across the portfolio as it grows territory by territory.
